Dirk's younger brother Dyke was a painter who lived in Dallas. He died of complications from AIDS in 1988. On this, the 20-year anniversary of his death, the Rowntree family offers this tribute. Dyke's work will soon be available as part of the Frank Moore archive of Visual AIDS.org
